WE’RE HIRING – CLUB MANAGER
Location: Bowls Tauranga South, 15 Tutchen Street, Tauranga
Employment Type: Part-Time (hours negotiable and dependant on demand)
Salary: Negotiable (Commensurate with experience)
We’re a small but proud club with a loyal membership base and a welcoming atmosphere. More than just a place to bowl, we’re a community hub — hosting regular bowls events, social events, and local gatherings. Including other sub-clubs such as Cards and Embroidery. We’re looking for a dedicated and hands-on Club Manager to oversee daily operations and help lead us into our next chapter.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
✔ Oversee daily club operations (bar, functions, greens, facilities)
✔ Manage/oversee rosters, stock ordering, and basic reporting and financial management
✔ Support the club’s committees in event planning and promotion
✔ Engaging members and the wider community to increase participation and ensure a great experience for members and visitors
✔Helping grow club revenue through events, functions, sponsorship and partnerships
✔Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations
WERE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:
✔ Has strong leadership and organisational skills
✔ Enjoys working with people and building community relationships
✔ Is proactive, reliable, and hands-on
✔ Has hospitality or venue management experience (bonus if in a club environment)
✔ Is comfortable handling basic budgets and reporting
✔ Liquor Licence Controller Qualification and Managers certificate (or willing to obtain one)
✔ Can work flexible hours, including some weekends and evenings
